History of the Art Club

In 1972 the Arrow Artists were founded for artists in Broken Bow and the surrounding area, with the agenda of meeting monthly to sketch and paint.  Workshops with professional artists are planned to enhance skills several times a year.

Arrow Artists belong to the ANAC, the Association of Nebraska Art Clubs, and participate in their annual meeting and art competition.  The members have a Spring and Fall show and their artwork is hung in four places around Broken Bow:  McMeen Physical Therapy, Kinder Morgan Building, The Bum Steer Steak House and the Broken Bow Library.  Pictures are rotated quarterly.
